Hi! I'm Angie Lee

I am a professional Singer, Songwriter and Recording Artist. I have been performing for 33 years, and coaching Voice, Songwriting and Performing for 22 years. 

I have been involved in many sides of the Entertainment Industry, ranging from Musical Theater productions, to Collegiate Choirs, to Voice Over Recording for Disney, to Touring in a Rock Band. 

I'm passionate about helping artists develop the skills and mindsets they need to achieve their music goals.

I intimately understand what it takes to be an effective artist at every level, and I want to share that experience and knowledge with Singer Songwriters to help them expedite their journey.

Because at the end of the day, I want to give musicians a platform to get their message out to the world and be heard.

Hi! I'm Mike Lee

I am the creator of the curriculum for the Invicta Vox Songwriting & Artist Development Program. I specialize in breaking down the artistic processes of Singer Songwriters, and I develop the tools to give them the best chance for success in their journey. 

One of my favorite things, is seeing the excitement in artists that comes from doing what they love.

Too often, I see artists get frustrated with their music journey, and they quit or give up. My goal is to build curriculum to help them fuel their artistic fire, to jump-start the music they have been putting off, and to make sure they have the tools they need to never quit again.

This is why I enjoy creating environments to give artists support, and I develop programs to push them further.

"When I first started at Invicta Vox, it was about a month before my 26th birthday, and I was really reluctant to start as an adult because I felt society pressures and tells us that if we haven’t made it by the time we’re 16, 18 or 20, then it’s too late to start. 

But, when I came to Invicta I found out that wasn’t the case. There were plenty of people at the studio who were my age, there was a really supportive community, and all of a sudden I felt like there was no timeline on the music that I wanted to do. There was no set path for how or when things needed to be done.

I feel like starting at this age has actually given me a little bit of an edge, because instead of trying to figure out who I am as a person, I know who I am and what I like. It’s actually made it easier to go in a clear direction toward what I want, and feel like I am on the right track to get there.

Invicta has had a lot of really great opportunities that have allowed me to grow, branch out and meet a lot of really great people. Through Invicta I've met some of my really good music friends, and I’ve even collaborated with a few of them outside of classes. I’ve found people who share a similar music taste to me. 

I was really reluctant to start this late in life, but at Invicta Vox, the coaches are there for you, they care about you and what you want, and you start to realize that it’s your story and you can’t compare it to anybody else’s. Just know that it's important to share your music.

Re: The SINGER SONGWRITER JUMP-START CHALLENGE
There are two things I have been elite at throughout my entire life, 1) telling myself that it’s possible for me to achieve an “impossible-dream”, and 2) shutting that dream down repeatedly. 
 
There is always a really good excuse or story I can tell myself to make me feel good about quitting. I’m too old. I need to get a “real job”. I have a baby now. I can’t spend the money on myself. My family is depending on me. This is a pipe-dream. 
 
And… There are times throughout my adult life when I allow myself to buy into the fear that everyone else around me has about pursuing music, and I believe I can no longer pursue the music that is in my heart. 
 
What I notice is that every time I choose to let my dream go, the burning desire comes right back to haunt me. It never goes away. It’s something that’s always there. 
 
So why is it we always tell ourselves we have to put down the one thing that holds us together? Why is it a pipe-dream to want to pursue music? 

Creating music has always been a huge part of my life. It’s not just “part” of my life. It is a part of who I am. It’s how I communicate. 
It’s how I work through emotions and difficult situations. It’s how I shape and change my world over and over again.

Every time I let go of that pursuit, I lose myself and sink into depression. 
 
At first I am good, and can keep going for a little while, and then BAM, depression.
 
When this first started happening, I didn’t understand why depression was taking over my life, and why it would come up in this way. After all, I was doing everything by the book and shouldn’t I be happy? 
 
It didn’t take long to realize it was because the music wasn’t there. But, the second I could find a way to reconnect to the music and give myself that gift, the magic came back to my life. 
 
And that music is what always brought me back to the surface. 

Music isn’t just something I do, it’s who I am. And now, it’s the one thing I can never put away again. I know this with definiteness of purpose; music will always be a part of my life in a big way, for the rest of my life. 
Whether I’m famous or not, whether I make $1 million off of it or not, music and my ability to share it will always be my life. 
 
It is the thing that fuels me, gives me passion and excitement, and it’s the thing that saves me. 
 
So, I invite you to come on this journey with us and put down the old narrative - that you shouldn’t have the burning desire in your heart, that it’s not possible and that it’s a pipe-dream - because that narrative is simply not true. 
 
And, you just might find yourself in the best place you could ever be found, that it’s possible for you to become the person you’ve always wanted to be. I 100%, wholeheartedly believe this is true. 
 
No matter what you have going on in your adult life and no matter what challenges you face, the music in your heart will always be there to guide you home. 
 
So now, it’s time to let it out!
